Comparison
Voxtrics vs Zeffi: an alternative for website surveys
Zeffi by ZEF is a Finnish platform for customer and employee surveys (NPS, eNPS) with AI interviews and an AI agent that connects feedback with business data, which ZEF says it sells through a demo, with pricing on request. Voxtrics focuses on surveys and feedback on your website and publishes its prices: a free plan of up to 300 responses a month and paid plans from €15 a month billed annually (€20 month to month).
Voxtrics vs Zeffi at a glance
| Feature | Voxtrics | Zeffi by ZEF |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | On-site surveys and website feedback: an embeddable widget, link surveys and email surveys. No analytics suite. | Customer and employee survey platform (NPS, eNPS, CSAT), which ZEF calls People Intelligence: AI interviews, an AI analysis agent and analysis of feedback together with CRM and business data. |
| Free plan | Yes: Yes, free forever: up to 300 responses a month, 1 user and 5 active surveys. New accounts start with a 30-day Business trial, no card needed. | Partly: Its terms of service list a Free licence: like every licence it allows unlimited users and surveys, but its contact and monthly response quotas are not published. An account moves to it when a paid contract ends. ZEF says it offers no self-service free trial and that every engagement starts with a demo. |
| Entry price | Growth: €15 a month billed annually or €20 month to month, 1,500 responses a month and 2 users. | Pricing on request: licences are sized and priced in a demo (its product page lists Genius, Master and Einstein; its terms also list Free and Genius Light). Every licence includes unlimited users and surveys. |
| Survey formats | Yes: Inline in the page, a popup behind a button, a popup that opens on its own, a chat in a corner card, a full-page survey at its own link, and an email survey with one question in the email itself (sending from the Growth plan). | Yes: Email and SMS invitations, a sharing link and QR codes, a website embed (iframe), a floating popup survey, live polls for events and a kiosk mode for shared devices. |
| When the survey appears | Yes: In inline, popup and chat surveys: time delay, exit intent (desktop) or returning visitors (one setting, one or the other), scrolled to the end of the page, click on a page element, a cookie, a random share of page loads. When several are on, all must be met. | Partly: The popup opens from a floating bubble, automatically after a set time, or from your own JavaScript. Scroll and exit-intent triggers are not described. Surveys can also be triggered by behaviour such as churn risk, a drop in NPS or a purchase event. |
| Page rules (show by URL) | No: No page rules: the survey appears on the pages where you add its snippet. | Not described: Not described in ZEF's documentation; embeds and popups appear on the pages where their code is added. |
| Feedback on a specific page element | Yes: From the Scale plan, in inline and popup surveys when element selection is on: the visitor points at an element, and the response comes with a page screenshot where it is highlighted. | Not described: Not described in ZEF's documentation. |
| Page screenshot with each response | Yes: From the Scale plan (€37 a month billed annually): each widget response comes with an image of the page, rendered on our server from the page's HTML. | Not described: Automatic page screenshots are not described; a file-upload question is available. |
| Languages | Yes: One survey in up to 8 languages. Embedded surveys open in the language set in the embed code (by default, the survey's first language), link surveys follow the browser language, and email surveys go out in the language you pick when sending; an optional switcher lets visitors change it. | Yes: Any number of language versions per survey, with automatic translation as a draft; the survey can detect the language and show a language selector at the start. |
| AI features | Partly: From the Scale plan (€37 a month billed annually): AI drafts a survey from a description (except email and chat surveys) and translates it, within the plan's AI credits. No AI analysis of responses. | Yes: WhyFinder AI interview that asks follow-up questions, by default after NPS questions; the Esko AI agent analyzes responses and business data and writes reports and action plans; AI creates a survey from a description; automatic translation of surveys. |
| Questions and logic | 20 question types, including NPS, matrix, ranking, constant sum and signature; more than 30 templates. Wording can change with earlier rating or scale answers, but there is no skip or branching logic. | NPS, eNPS, 2D slider, slider, rating, range, single and multiple choice, checkbox, dropdown, picture choice, open text, file upload, email, phone, URL, number and an AI interview; questions and question groups can be shown based on earlier answers. |
| Response alerts | Yes: From the Growth plan: Slack, Telegram and email alerts when responses meet a rule you set, such as several low scores within an hour. An alert gives the count, not the answers, and fires at most every 30 minutes. No Microsoft Teams. | Yes: Email notifications for every new response, or only when conditions are met; Slack is listed among its integrations, and feedback can be sent on through Microsoft Teams webhooks; alerts when a key customer shows negative signals. Telegram is not described. |
| API and webhooks | Partly: REST API from the Scale plan: read responses (with their screenshots), surveys, domains and alerts, manage team members and send email surveys. No outgoing webhooks. | Yes: REST API for responses, surveys, contacts, sharing and the organization, plus a webhooks API; full API access on every licence. |
| Where data is stored | Responses and page screenshots are stored in Finland (EU), on servers Voxtrics runs itself. All traffic to Voxtrics, survey responses included, passes through Cloudflare (USA); emails, email surveys included, go out through Lettermint (Netherlands); AI features send the survey text you write, never responses, to OpenAI Ireland Ltd., which may pass it on to OpenAI companies in the USA. Voxtrics is a Finnish company. | ZEF's product page says all platform data stays in the EU and lists data storage in Finland as an option on the Master licence. Its DPA says survey responses are not processed or hosted outside the EU, and that survey creators' account data may also be processed in the USA. ZEF is a Finnish company. |
| Surveys inside mobile apps | No: No mobile SDK. Link and email surveys open in mobile browsers. | Partly: In-app surveys are listed among its channels; a mobile SDK is not described. A kiosk mode restarts the survey on a shared device. |
| Integrations | Partly: Few: Slack, Telegram and email alerts from the Growth plan, Excel (XLSX) export, a REST API from the Scale plan, and from the Business plan a Jira Cloud integration that creates an issue from a response. Install with a script, an npm package, a WordPress plugin or guides for Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and Tilda. No CRM integrations or Zapier. | Yes: Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, Slack, Zapier, the Sympa and Hailey HR systems, Moontalk, SFTP and more; published integrations on every licence; custom integrations included on Einstein and available on Genius and Master at extra cost. |
“Partly” means the feature is covered only in part; the cell says which. “Not described” means the vendor's public documentation did not describe the feature on October 15, 2026. It does not necessarily mean the feature is missing.

Questions and answers
How much does Zeffi cost?
ZEF does not publish licence prices: its licences are sized and priced in a demo, and ZEF says it offers no self-service free trial. Voxtrics is free up to 300 responses a month, with paid plans from €15 a month billed annually.
Can Zeffi run surveys on a website?
Yes. A Zeffi survey can be embedded in a page with an iframe or shown as a floating popup that opens from a bubble, automatically after a set time, or from your own JavaScript. Voxtrics adds on-page triggers for inline, popup and chat surveys: exit intent (desktop), scrolling to the end of the page and a click on a page element, set up without writing JavaScript.
How do the AI features differ?
Both can create a survey from a description with AI and translate it automatically. Zeffi adds its WhyFinder AI interview, which asks follow-up questions based on each answer, and its Esko AI agent, which analyzes responses and writes reports. Voxtrics offers AI drafting (except for email and chat surveys) and translation from the Scale plan, and does not analyze responses with AI.
Where is the data stored?
Survey responses are stored in the EU with both. Voxtrics stores data in Finland, and all traffic to Voxtrics, survey responses included, passes through Cloudflare (USA). ZEF's product page says all its platform data stays in the EU and lists storage in Finland as an option on the Master licence; ZEF's security page says account data of survey creators may also be stored in the USA.
How we compared
We compared the plans and features published on the vendor's own website, help center and documentation for Zeffi, checked on October 15, 2026. Prices are list prices as each vendor's pricing page showed them to a visitor in the EU, in the currency shown there and without temporary discounts; whether VAT is included or added depends on the vendor and your country.
